Questions
- How does the rivalry quiz work?
- You get ten questions. Each names two teams and asks which one leads their all-time head-to-head series. Pick a side, then see the real record. Today's quiz is the same ten questions for everyone on a given day, and the random quiz deals a fresh set each time.
- Where do the questions come from?
- From 3,135 series between current teams in the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, college football and WNBA, covering 428,021 games. A series needs at least 10 meetings and a clear leader; exactly level series are never asked. Every record is the one on that matchup's page.
- How often does the quiz change?
- Today's quiz changes at midnight in your time zone. The random quiz is unlimited, so you can play as many sets as you like.
- Can I play an earlier day's quiz?
- Yes. When you finish a daily quiz, use Previous day, or open a shared score link: it carries its date, so you get the same ten questions your friend did. Past days are dealt from today's records, so a day replayed after new games can differ slightly.
- What is the most-played series in the quiz?
- Chicago Cubs vs Pittsburgh Pirates, with 2635 meetings since 1887.
- Do ties count?
- Ties are listed in the record you see after answering, but the leader is decided by wins alone.
